Rebecca joined Peter Dunn Solicitors in 2015 having obtained a 2:1 Honours Degree in Law at Derby University and qualifying as a solicitor on 15th. August 2008.
Rebecca’s caseload includes all aspects of family law including advice on separation, divorce and resolution of financial matters. Rebecca also has a wide ranging expertise in relation to injunction applications when emergency protection from the Courts is required arising from domestic abuse and violence. Rebecca’s special interest and expertise is in the law relating to children. Rebecca has been a Member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2012 and has expertise in all aspects of Children Law. She has expertise in all aspects of children law from representation of parents and other family members in care and adoption proceedings as well as private law disputes amongst family members in arrangements for their children. As a member of the Children Panel she also represents children themselves within public and private law proceedings.
Rebecca’s sensitive, approachable and professional manner instils confidence in her clients. Rebecca fully understands that family issues are emotive and can be stressful and she enjoys excellent working relationships with her clients who appreciate her high standards of client care. She ensures that clients are given realistic advice in a way that is easy for them to understand and she strives to ensure that she personally represents her clients from hearings through to final determination.
Outside of work Rebecca is the mother of two young children and loves to participate in their activities. She is also a keen crafter and loves to bake.
